My name is Amirah Gibson I’m from North Carolina and recently living in Georgia, I am 18 years old and I’m recently a high school graduate student. Honoring of having my rank at top 10% at about 400 students. I am the oldest child out of 5 and I maintain helping around the house while keeping my grades up In school. I’ve always been told of being a big helper, overachiever, and hardworking from my family, peers, coworkers, and anyone I ever meet.

The study of the human mind behavior has always been an interest of me and to research the psychological effects of what goes through my community, specifically the predominantly black population, I hope to take that opportunity to help out the minds of young adults that go through tough situations growing up and to give them hope of having a better life and future
