Cashier/Customer Service for Lowe's at At Lowe’s, I have taken many roles, including cashier, customer service position, and fulfillment. With every role I have taken, I have delivered excellent customer service for each customer. I must think quickly of a solution for every problem presented to me. My shifts include helping my Head Cashier figure out and give breaks and lunches to my other coworkers. I have learned how to do returns, figure out delivery issues, process online orders, look up the status of an order, and take multiple phone calls. I have learned to work under pressure and to multitask.

About

I am a Hispanic/Latina constantly seeking a new opportunity to grow personally and professionally. I come from a hardworking immigrant family who has faced many challenges due to our background, but that does not stop us from achieving our goals. We work hard for want we want and overcome any challenge that crosses our path. I am proud to be a Mexican immigrant under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

  • Sandwich Artist for Subway

We created custom sandwiches for each customer while ensuring we delivered excellent customer service. Apart from making custom sandwiches, we were responsible for keeping the restaurant clean and organized and ensuring the money in the register was accurate. When we were scheduled for morning shifts, we had to prepare food and bread for the entire day. If we were scheduled for a night shift, we were responsible for closing the register, cleaning the restaurant, ensuring everything was prepared for the morning shift, and locking the store.
