Ana Leal

I am currently a college student at Miami Dade College, FL. I am completing my associate degree in pre-pharmacy. When I finish college I am going to apply to University of Florida, University of Miami or University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. There I want to continue my university education and get my PhD in pharmacy.
Since I was a child I developed a love for natural science. I grew up around scientific parents who made me part into many of their investigations. These earlier experiences in the medical field had a great impact in my later decision to become a pharmacist research. My biggest ambition is to find better medical treatments for those people who suffer from cancer, HIV and especially those from hearth diseases. My aspirations as a student and human is to get a good education in the medical field and beyond, from this way I would be able to apply my knowledge to every sphere in my life: my family, my workplace, and my community.
