Ana Maria Toaca

I am majoring in Public Relations at Florida International University where I am part of the executive board of the Public Relations Students Society of America. I am an incredibly energetic, curious and organized person. I tend to learn quickly and adapt to new situations and tasks. One of my biggest strengths is writing fiction and non-fiction stories, concentrating first on the big picture, but never forgetting the small details. Also, I enjoy expressing ideas, identifying problems and solutions by handling details, coordinating tasks and making decisions. I am passionate about communications, as I strongly believe it is a tool powerful enough to unite communities and nations.

Being part of the executive board of PRSSA, I engage in writing materials for our members, organizing members’ events, managing presentations and overseeing content posting on multiple social media outlets. In my position as Special Events Coordinator, I have organized multiple events, including the volunteering day at His House Children’s Home in Miami. I take great pride in each project, investing every bit of my efforts and imagination.
