Anastasia Bradley

Hello! My name is Anastasia Bradley, a high school student. From an early age, I was fascinated by science. As a toddler, I would often ask my father to read biology textbooks out loud as I went to bed. Despite my young age at the time, I was able to understand and research the functions of the human body and its anatomy. I had made a presentation of the human circulatory system, in which I presented to my class its significance and purpose. I won a Science Award at the Northeast Regional STEM Fair, First Place in SARSEF, and the Doing Good For The Community Award organized by ASU Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Service. In middle school I became a reporter for the local news outlet Bear Essential News, which is an newspaper for children ages 6-14 with over 200,000 monthly readers. Being able to interview as many people as I did allowed me to harness my creativity and gain inspiration from so many people. During COVID-19 I created a social media group called "You Are Not The Boss Of Me," which aims to provide mental and emotional advice to those in school being bullied or mistreated by their peers. I realized at one point in time that I could combine the three things I love -- science, art, and books -- and turn that into a submersible learning opportunity for younger audiences. For the past year I've been an illustrator for the nation-wide selling scientific book series Nurse Florence, acquiring multiple awards and five-star reviews. I'd like to thank any donors that come across my page, for your generosity and giving me a chance at success.
