Anastasia Malygina

From a young age, art has been my passion. Not only that, I also enjoy reading, writing, singing, and learning new things, gaining knowledge in the areas of mathematics, history, science, and language arts. An immigrant with English as my second language, I began first grade in the U.S. Today, I am fluent in both Russian and English. In 2022, I graduated from Heritage Christian School, a private school in San Diego, with honors. In high school, I was an excellent student and a member of the National Homeschool Honor Society, where I gained experience in serving and learned about leadership qualities. After I graduated high school, I earned the Citations Award in AWANA Clubs (requiring me to complete 10 years of work, including memorizing and reciting numerous passages of text). I was accepted to Liberty University (online) and plan to begin online classes sometime in the future, preparing in the meantime as I study with the help of numerous resources and people who have greater experience in art, design, and education. From a young age, I showed talent in drawing, specifically in drawing characters that look alive. I also practiced 3D-modeling and I have been inspired by nature, animation, classical works of art, film, literature, folk stories, and people I met. I plan to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Design | Character Design.
