About

I grew up in Charleston, SC and lived in Manitou Springs, CO for 5 years, both beautiful places to live. I now live in Georgia with my husband and our dog and cat. It's a great life!

I am returning to finish my Bachelor's degree, in my 40's, after nearly two decades between my Associates and now. Since then, I have used my time to grow as a person, and learned how to focus my time and efforts to serve others. I know that being a writer is my calling, and I am already establishing myself as a writer with a focus on the needs of women.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Upon completion of my degree, I plan to use my education to write books and devotionals aimed towards encouraging women in all facets of life, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Everything I write will be rooted in real-life applications of Scriptural truth, infallibility, and reliability.

I currently write for two women's organizations and have my blog and social media under the name faithfullyredeemedlife.

Outside the classroom

I don't know if it's because I am nearly 50, but my hobbies are actually embroidery and sourdough baking. I also make homemade vanilla extract. These things help me slow down in life and enjoy the process.
