About
I am a smart, kind, patient, and understanding person who values learning and personal growth. Math is my favorite subject because I enjoy problem-solving and logical thinking. I have a strong passion for cooking and baking, especially making cakes, which allows me to be creative and bring joy to others. As a wife and mother, family is very important to me, and I take pride in caring for and supporting those I love. I am also actively involved in my church, where I enjoy helping others and giving back to the community. Serving others and making a positive difference is something I truly value.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended career path is to graduate from UNCP with a bachelor’s degree in Birth to Kindergarten education. I plan to work in the city where I live as a kindergarten teacher. Teaching young children is my passion and truly comes from my heart. I am dedicated to helping children learn, grow, and build a strong foundation for their future, and I look forward to making a positive impact in my community through education.
- Graduate school interests
My graduate school interests focus on advancing my education in early childhood development and teaching practices. After earning my bachelor’s degree in Birth to Kindergarten education from UNCP, I am interested in pursuing graduate studies that will strengthen my skills as a kindergarten teacher. I want to deepen my understanding of child development, classroom management, and inclusive teaching strategies so I can better support young learners. My goal is to continue serving the community where I live by providing high-quality education and helping children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include cooking and baking, especially trying new recipes and making desserts. I enjoy hosting family gatherings and spending quality time with loved ones. Playing board games with family and friends is one of my favorite ways to relax and have fun. I also enjoy painting, which allows me to express my creativity and unwind.
Experience
-
substitute teacher
I worked in the school system for about four years as a substitute teacher. During that time, I realized that teaching was truly my passion. I worked with many different grade levels, but kindergarten is where my heart is.
