About

I was born in Puerto Rico and lived there for nine years which was a great experience as I was able to embrace my culture and soon be exposed to an entirely new culture once I moved to the Virginia when I was nine. I quickly picked up English and being bilingual has helped me communicate with numerous amounts of people helping them in situations in which they needed understanding. I finished high school feeling very accomplished with a 3.44 GPA and was accepted to my first choice James Madison University. Throughout my time in college I've come to understand that one must create their own venture in order to be successful. The student who falls into a simple routine of simply going to class and getting their work done is diminishing their potential as an individual, having learned this I made a pathway for my own success. I began to write about music trying everything to get my name out there and in a short time I have already seen some success with Perfect Sound Forever wanting to publish one of my articles. I have also began volunteering for companies like HeadCount and HDR which fall in line with my major and my passion of event planning. Being a part of the Honor Society is the next step in my college journey to get out there and fulfill my potential as an individual.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My goal is to be a venue manager, planning events ranging from music concerts to comedy shows and anything in between. I would work my way up to managing music festivals and really anything that grasps my interest. Additionally I have started writing and the music publication Perfect Sound Forever is scheduled to publish one of my articles at the end of March. No matter where my career ends up I want to be a part of the freelance community as it can expand my skills while also letting me connect with an endless amount of people.

Graduate school interests

I have a growing interest in the field of writing which was mainly inspired by my love in music something that I have heavily studied since the eighth grade. I am eager to volunteer with organizations that wish to get involved in music events like HeadCount and I am soon getting involved with HDR an organization in Harrisonburg centered in putting together music, comedy, and many other events that bring people together.
