Volunteering

  • Active Member and Volunteer: As an active member and volunteer for the National Honor Society, I played a pivotal role in organizing and participating in a diverse range of community service initiatives. This encompassed volunteering in activities such as cleaning specific rooms and general areas at Lake Howell High School and helping some staff members from the same institution with anything that they needed, from assistance to being messengers. Additionally, I actively participated in events hosted by the high school, contributing to their success and fostering positive community relations. Engaging in fundraisers was another integral aspect of my role, where I collaborated with fellow members to raise funds for various causes. One notable project involved packing food boxes for overseas veterans, exemplifying our commitment to supporting those in need beyond the local community. Through these hands-on experiences, I not only contributed meaningfully to various causes but also developed a profound understanding of the impact of community service on personal and societal growth.
