Goals and interests
- Career goal
Looking to pursue a prestigious career in research focusing on minority health in vulnerable populations. This career intention includes a program director within a particular health branch such as the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. This experience will help me prepare to become a professor of a university later within my career.
- Graduate school interests
Development and implementation of program planning for vulnerable populations, particularly focusing on minority health. Educational interests also include health promotion research within occupational medicine for minority populations. The current research I am conducting now within CDC-NIOSH in Cincinnati, has driven my desire to pursue a career in research in health promotion and education.
- Outside the classroom
Include spending time with friends and family. Actively involved in the Health Education and Promotion graduate program at the University of Cincinnati. I also enjoy working out on a consistent basis and all types of water sports particulary wakeboarding at my summer lake house.
