Goals and interests

Career goal

I want to be a part of pharmaceutical development. I took a class called "pharmaceutical development", which was taught by executives and process engineers from Gilead, some time ago. Ever since taking that course, I have been set and interested in the process of producing medicines to improve and extend people's lives. The exact role or position is not so clear and I have been trying to narrow that down while I am still in school through interning and interviewing industry professionals. Currently, I would like to be in a manufacturing space.

Graduate school interests

I am aiming to get an MBA from North Carolina A&T State University. The question of what to do with one's time and resources on large questions like grad school is really difficult. To alleviate this, I inferred with various industry professionals I knew who had an MBA and several who didn't. I may like to return for a Master's of science, but I decided on an MBA based on my desires, and the words from my interviews.

Outside the classroom

I like engineering and design in my spare time. I am currently making my own E-bike and designing a composting system for my family. These are slow going due to money. I like watching investing markets and practicing financial literacy. I read books, mostly for knowledge and learning through non-fiction works.

My brother and I go out and clean up trash/litter in our neighborhood on Saturdays. A good way to give back and have some time out in nature.
