I am pursuing a Doctorate of Technology from Purdue University as I’m looking for an opportunity to take my existing Technology learnings to the next level. The Doctorate of Technology helps me to craft an innovative, clever, efficient way to introduce technology to minorities that ultimately leads to more black and brown communities in technology on a macro level. Reports have shown that there is a serious lack of minority Americans in STEM fields like computer science. On top of that, even less of the STEM careers are occupied by minority women.
