About
I am a middle aged mother of 5 who developed a desire to advance my career and knowledge in healthcare several years ago. I spent the majority of my adult life raising my kids and working as an LPN, but always knew I could do more to help people. I started back on an educational track in 2018 and have been going non stop in search of a doctorate degree in nursing. I still work full time at an integrative medical practice while attending Florida State University full time in the Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner program and have maintained a 4.0 GPA through perseverance and good time management.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is in emergency medicine and family practice. My aim is to gain experience in both areas so eventually I can travel within the U.S. My focus is on health and wellness, preventative care, and advocating for at risk populations.
- Graduate school interests
I am a remote student, so I am not involved in any activities on campus. I do enjoy mentoring other students and working collectively to encourage others in the program to be successful.
