Angelina Capri Venafro

I am a senior at Loudoun Valley High School in Purcellville, Virginia, graduating in June 2027. My cumulative weighted GPA is 4.33. My courses include AP Statistics, dual-enrollment English 12, U.S. and Virginia Government, and Geospatial Science II, along with Strategic Marketing and Student Leadership. I belong to National Honor Society and earned Honor Roll recognition in grades 9 through 11.

In DECA, I have served as Chapter President and Vice President of Leadership, organized meetings, and mentored members. I placed at districts and competed at state and international competitions. I have also served as captain in cheerleading, gymnastics, and softball. My awards include two First Team All-District selections in cheerleading, Rookie of the Year, Outstanding Cheerleader, and the softball Coaches Award.

During summer 2026, I interned with the Tampa Tarpons, a New York Yankees minor league affiliate. I assisted with ticket sales, created graphics, and helped carry out promotions and theme nights. I also work at SideBar as a host, food runner, and busser.

My service includes coaching youth cheer, coordinating clothing donations for Tree of Life Ministries, and participating in NHS tutoring, donation drives, and community events. I founded the Friendship Bracelet Making Club at my school. I plan to study sports management, with an interest in marketing and fan experiences.
