About
My name is Angelo, I was born in a small town in Germany. At an early age I discovered my passion for numbers and economics. After finishing my IB in my last year of High School, I moved to Chicago to pursue a degree in business. From there on everything began to change. I used to be a very shy kid who rather stayed at home. Being on my own taught me many new skills such that of communication and leadership. By taking more than 12 credit hours, I started off by being a full time student. After one semester I wanted to gain more work experience while also getting more involved in school. As a result I took a job as a student ambassador. As a business major, it is easy to identify the intensity of the competition in the job market. Job experiences are more of a must than a suggestion. To increase my assets I decided to take on one additional job in the service industry and an internship in the social media section. The working hours have been a lot, and more than often not easy, however my passion for learning something new is stronger. Today, besides learning many new skills, I was able to make a great impact on the local community.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I have always had a huge passion for business and helping other people. I thought to myself: How can I achieve both?
The answer turned out to be as simple as asking the question. With my interest in business I want to help other people getting jobs.
I was intending to work in the financial sector, maybe something related with the buying and selling of securities. By growing sales for the company I would be able to achieve more revenue for other new position to be filed.- Graduate school interests
I am currently going to the College of Lake County, and expecting to graduate this year. Since the College of Lake County gets me only to an associate's degree, I wanted to transfer to another University to pursue my path to a bachelor's degree in business. After I would obtain a bachelor's degree I was planning on working for one or two years to gain some work experience. After that I wanted to get my MBA from a business school.
Having a degree opens up a lot of doors in life, but it doesn't bring you anything if you don't know how to walk through them. For me school is also getting to know other people, making new connections, and learning how to learn.- Outside the classroom
For me hobbies are a chance to do something additional to your day. Whenever I have free time I like to go jogging and work out. It keeps my mind free and gives me time to relax and think. Some of my other interests are learning french. I first stated to learn french in classes in High School. I have been to France several time to practice my skills. The feeling that you get when you talk to strangers in a language that you usually don't speak on a daily basis is incredible. To this day I teach myself french.
Another important aspect of my life is economics. I read business articles on a daily basis and keep up with the up with the volatility of the stock market. To understand more, I taught myself economic principles and technical analysis.
