About
I pursued a Master's of Public Health with a focus on Public Health Communications while working full time at the United States Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) - an independent, scientific organization that sets quality standards for medicines and foods. In addition to my exceptional grades and challenging coursework, I have extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, health policy and drug regulation in the US and globally. I have attended the World Health Assembly and multiple science communications conferences - including AAAS annual meeting, NASEM Science Communications Colloquium and Aspen Ideas: Health. I have certificates from the OpEd Project and PR News. My Public Health communications studies complements a 15 year career working in media relations for national media outlets - PBS NewsHour, Reuters and UPI.
