Annerys Falcon Herrera

My name is Annerys Falcon Herrera but friends and family call me “Annie” and I’m going on my senior year at University of Houston-Victoria. I plan to graduate with a Bachelors of Business Administration on 2016 and continue to pursue my master’s degree. I grew up with my parents in Cuba, a small island on the Caribbean. On 2009, I left my family behind, moved to U.S and settled in Houston. Living in a foreign country and blending in hasn’t been an easy task. Over the years I’ve struggled learning the language and U.S culture but with hard work and dedication I was able to fit in and become a legal citizen. I’m a single mom of two beautiful babies 1 and 2 years old and they encourage me to keep striving for success. I love teaching Spanish to children of all ages and I have worked on private and church Spanish programs. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals and I’m passionate about today’s business world. On my free time, I love spending time with my kids, doing outdoors activities and exercising. I’m honored to be a newer member of HonorSociety.org.
