About

I am currently attending Colorado Christian University working on a masters in counseling. Completing my bachelors in psychology was one of my greatest accomplishments as I was able to complete it as a single mother working two jobs.
After completing my bachelors I enrolled with Colorado Christian University to work on my masters in counseling. Graduating with a masters will open so many doors and allow me to work in the field of counseling which has been a long time dream. I am so eager to graduate so that I can apply my skills and knowledge towards helping individuals and families through trying times in their life.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to use my degree to work as an adoption counselor. I would like to work with women who are considering putting their unborn or recently born child up for adoption and working with future adoptive families.
I would also like to work as a mental health counselor for the department of corrections, youth corrections, or state mental hospital.

Graduate school interests

I have many interest such as gaining as much knowledge and experience as possible so that I can be a successful mental health counselor. I love learning about how family dynamics, genetics, and social factors contribute to ones mental and physical well-being.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy spending all my free time with my family and helping the community.
