About

I am a Ph.D. student working in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University alongside Dr. Feng Zhao in the Stem Cell and Tissue Engineering Lab. My research will currently focus on fabricating advanced biomaterials for treating acute and chronic wounds. I have multi-sectoral research experience extends across Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicines, and Biomaterials. I have a record bunch of publications and conference presentations.

Technical Skills:

-Tissue Engineering: Cell culturing includes cell lines like human dermal fibroblasts (hDFs), human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs), and macrophages (THP-1). Stem cell isolated exosomes, RT-qPCR, Immunofluorescence, Histology, Cytotoxicity, Western Blot, RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis.

-Imaging: Zeiss Fluorescence Microscope, Olympus Histology Slide Scanner, Olympus Confocal Microscope.

-Imaging and Data Analysis Software: ImageJ, Olympus Confocal microscopy software, Olympus histology slide scanner, Li-COR Western Blot, GraphPad Prism, OriginPro, BioRender.

-Biomaterials: Elastin extracellular matrix (ECM)-mimicked peptide hydrogels, Covalent Organic Nanosheets, Micro-patterned polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for mimicking skin architecture.
