About
Hello to whom is reading,
I’m Ari! Nice to meet you. I’m a thorough, articulate kind soul who has many self taught talents such as bleaching hair, dyeing hair, grooming dogs of all breeds and handling efficiently, hair cutting, cooking, childcare of all ages, piercing, self-injecting shots and giving someone else a shot, and much more!
Currently, I work 2 jobs and am looking for a third one as I have very ambitious goals for my future. My goal is to go to Stanford University as an Undergraduate, hopefully med school as well because I plan to become a surgeon. That is my desire and wanting, I have an adult/pediatric CPR & First Aid Certification already as a first step to include myself in the community more.

babysitting/ house sitting/ pet sitting
I have a XL American Bully (4 years old) and an Imperial Shih Tzu (13 years old). I groom them both myself (hair cut, teeth brushed, bathed, daily brushing 2x, eye cleaning, ear cleaning), pet handler, walk, and sit. The Bully is really my Dad's, but I've been taking care of him for approximately 2 years now mainly. My shih tzu on the other hand, I've taken care of for my whole life. He's blind now, so I have extra care experience surrounding that disability with a dog! On the side, I walk dogs, house sit and bath/groom. I've baby-sat all sorts of dog breeds, cats too!! I've only started on Rover in August of 2023, but I've taken care of animals a lot longer than being on the app. I've taken care of my younger sister for nearly my whole life, cooked for them, done our laundry, made sure they're focused on their work during school (they have ADD and home schooled) and assisted them with their schoolwork. I've done this for 10+ years. I've also looked after my 3-year-old nephew and 2-year-old niece for weeks at a time until my nephew was about 5. Recent work includes looking after 1-year-old niece in '24. I'd describe my personality as open-minded, kind and articulate. I have a future interest in health care, so being surrounded by kids early on will help my personal exposure. One thing you should know about me is I have experience with learning disabilities in kids and also have a disability myself; ADHD. I'm also currently in the process of trying to get a DL.

Barista
I didn't get to complete my training as a barista here, but have learned quite a bit about coffee, I am comfortable pulling shots, dialing and handling food efficiently. I was in the process of learning how to steam and froth milk before having to leave this position due to health-related issues. Also, did sweeping/mopping, stocking, and dishwashing. I attempted working here again the whole month of October 2023, but I couldn’t keep up with my daily panic attacks that would occur prior to me attending work which would leave me exhausted prior to my shift. I absolutely love this job and company a lot still. I got complimented often that I was a fast learner and questioned if I needed to slow down, but I was doing it slow.

Cashier
I was a cashier that bagged groceries, rung up customers and assisted them when they needed help, answered phone calls and directed customers to what department they needed to talk to or aid them in whatever questions needed guidance. Other responsibilities included making orange juice, making peanut/almond butter + labelling them afterwards, stocking and wrapping pastries which was done at least once a week, split between all cashiers usually, but I was trusted mainly with completing all these tasks since I was one of the longer staying cashiers. I also aided in training the new cashiers and looking over them during training.
