About
I am currently a Sophomore and scholarship recipient at Saint Leo University. I am enrolled in the Tapia College of Business BA: Accounting program. This program is designated in preparing students for entry-level accounting positions in governmental, profit, or non-profit organizations. Also, the program equips its students with the accounting knowledge and analytical skills needed to earn a CPA or CMA. Over the years, I have obtained numerous academic and personal achievements. In 2018-2019 I was awarded for my eager participation in Junior Achievement Bahamas. Junior Achievement is devoted to fostering youth innovation, work readiness, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and college preparedness. In 2019, I participated in The Bahamas' Ministry of Youth Business Boomers Summer Program. In this summer program, I learned about business ethics and theory. In 2020, I obtained both personal and academic achievements. I earned certifications in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint 2013. Moreover, in 2020 I graduated high school with High Honors and 5 As, 1B, and 2Cs in my BGCEs (Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Education). I was also awarded a scholarship from The Government Of The Bahamas Ministry of Education. Additionally, this year I earned my placement on the Dean's List with a 4.00 GPA at Saint Leo University. Furthermore, I received an invitation to the Honor Society. I am proud of all personal and academic achievements and awards, as they aid in me being successful.
