About
I am an international freshmen student who has just completed my first semester at Washburn University of Topeka. Being an international student of south asian descent meant a complete hundred and eighties degree turn over of my life both academically and personal. The way of learning and teaching was very shackled and narrow minded in my country with every student taking the same classes which meant we could be more comfortable with our classmates and our progress could also be possible with their help. But it was a complete change after coming here in the US where I had to be self reliant. Though it was difficult at first I persevered and was successful in learning new things from the four classes that I had taken. Not only that but I was able to get the perfect gpa of 4.0 in all of the subjects that I had taken for this semester. I had taken two classes from my major and two from general studies. I have also been added to the President’s list during Spring 2024.
