About
I am Aryan Anand, a 24-year-old pursuing my Master's in Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Tyler from fall 2023 to spring 2025. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SRM University, Chennai, India, completing it in July 2023. My undergraduate journey equipped me with diverse skills in embedded system design, automation, control systems, marine robotics, CAD design, and project management. Notable achievements include automating a renowned lab at SRM University, developing a patent-pending bio-inspired Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, and serving as the Chair for the SRM-MTS Students Chapter. I received accolades at Oceans 2022 conferences and IEEE in 2022, along with a Best Project Award. As a graduate research assistant under Dr. Prabha Sundaravadivel, I'm engaged in projects focusing on autonomous robots for agriculture and aquaculture, as well as an AI-powered instrumental setup for zebrafish behavior recognition in collaboration with the Department of Biology. My vision extends to creating innovative solutions that enhance society, with aspirations to lead a robotics firm before launching my own marine robotics startup post-masters degree. Embracing the motto "Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!" fuels my unwavering belief in overcoming challenges and turning concepts into reality.
