About

I am A’shawntae Overton, Board Member/ Mentor of the D.O.L.L.S. Leadership Program, where I have the privilege of mentoring youth, coordinating programs, and helping shape strategies that empower young girls to live with purpose. Leadership, service, and community impact are at the heart of everything I do.

I earned my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education – Director from the College of Southern Nevada with High Honors, maintaining a 3.85 GPA. During this time, I was honored to be inducted into The National Society of Leadership and Success and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I was awarded the Hites Family/MGM Mirage Scholarship, inducted into HonorSociety.org and Tau Sigma National Honor Society, selected as a Rebel R.I.S.E. I lead with integrity, humility, and a genuine desire to uplift others. I am passionate about creating positive change in my community, and I strive to set a standard of excellence through service, leadership, and dedication.
