About
My name is Ashleigh Arntson and I am currently a Freshman at Minnesota State University Moorhead. I have found enjoyment in working with people and the importance of communication, which led me to into the Public Relations major along with an Entrepreneurship minor. I hope someday to help represent a company and their service/ product with a focus in community relations. I am from the beautiful city of Duluth Minnesota and graduated from a small high school outside of the city. In 2015 I started an organization that turned into a Minnesota nonprofit in November of 2016. My new nonprofit is called, "If the Dress Fits" and has become a big passion of mine. What I do is, collect gently used/ recent styled prom dresses and then give them away to teens around my hometown who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford them.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
For personal success I choose a major that would allow me to have an open mind regarding my future career. Public Relations will open multiple doors within countless organizations and businesses. I have the goal in mind to one day work for a company as their public relations representative with a focus in community relations. Although this particular goal is broad, I believe it is where I will come to find the most happiness and success.
- Outside the classroom
I am a fairly active person. I enjoy taking trips to explore new and exciting places. My parents raised me stressing the importance of traveling and seeing the wonders the world has to offer. Music for me also a major hobby. I have grown up listening, singing, and playing musical instruments. Although I am not involved with a music group in college it's one of my favorite pass times. I am a family orientated person, so spending time with my family is how I try much of my free time.
