Hi!
My name is Asley, and this is currently my second year at Joliet Junior College. I am working towards my degree in Human Services, along with raising my five-year-old daughter and five-month-old son. I am extremely lucky to be able to go back to school so I can continue my education and find a job in something that I feel passionate about, and really feel like I am making a difference. I have a strong desire for helping people in need, especially woman and children, and I hope to one day be able to do my part by being able to provide resources and support for them.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My biggest dream would be to work in human services with a focus on domestic violence. There is such a high need for support and advocacy when it comes to domestic violence, and I would love to do my part and help people in need. I would love to work as a case worker, or intake person at a domestic violence shelter, along with finding resources for clients.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include spending time with my children, hiking in new areas and playing volleyball.
