About

I am married and the mother of a 5 year old little boy. I work full time as a hospital security officer at GRU Medical Center in the security dispatch office. I was a licensed Massage Therapist from 2012 to 2014. I could not afford to renew my license and allowed it to laps. I am currently attending GRU as a Kinesiology Major for Pre-Physical Therapy. I stay very busy between my family, work, and school. I currently have a 3.28 GPA and am working hard to bring that GPA up. I would love to be able to work with animals and people to combine my skills as a Massage Therapist and a Physical Therapist. Over the years, I have developed many skills that help me to this day. I have worked in restaurants, riding stables, vets offices, department stores, spas, and now at a hospital as a security officer. Each job has taught me something new that I will never forget and has me excited on what my career as a physical therapist will teach me.

Goals and interests

Career goal

After graduation, I intend to have a career as a physical therapist, combining my skills as a massage therapist. I hope to be able to work with animals to help in rehabilitating my patients as they grow stronger. I enjoy helping others and bringing a smile to someone's face and know that my skills in this area will do just that.

Outside the classroom

I love to read. When I am not in school and have a quiet moment, you will find me with a book in hand. It is an easy way to relax and unwind from a busy day.
I also love spending time with my family by taking road trips to different places.
I crochet different things from scarves and hats to blankets and pillows.
When given the opportunity, I love to ride horses. Another great stress reliever.
