About
I am a first-generation college student passionate about storytelling and nonprofit development. My path hasn’t been traditional—I started at Austin Community College (ACC). Still, I stepped away from school, eventually building a career in fundraising at Dell Children’s Medical Center in the Foundation. Through my work in development, I’ve been part of a team that has helped raise $105 million for pediatric healthcare initiatives, using storytelling to connect donors to life-changing causes.
In 2023, I made the choice to return to school, determined to finish what I started while balancing my full-time career in nonprofit development. Now, as I prepare to transfer to St. Edward’s University, I’m excited to be part of the Hilltop family and further my studies in Digital Storytelling and Content Creation. Earning a degree would serve as proof that education is always an option and part of the success is learning how to navigate your goals.
I'm excited to grow in a field that ensures the people and causes that matter most aren’t just heard, but truly seen and supported.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
After earning my degree, I plan to continue growing my career in development, using digital storytelling as my North Star to drive community impact and healthcare expansion in Central Texas. Working in the Dell Children's Foundation, I’ve seen how philanthropy makes world-class care possible for every child, regardless of their financial situation.
I strive to use storytelling to bridge the gap between donors and impactful causes, strengthen support, and help mission-driven organizations build lasting financial stability. My goal is to create long-term strategies that allow nonprofits like Dell Children’s to grow and continue serving their communities for generations to come.
For me, this work is about more than just raising funds—it’s about building a permanent foundation of support that ensures Texans always have access to every and any resources potentially needed, no matter their circumstances.
