I am currently an RN on a Labor & Delivery unit. I absolutely LOVE my job! Before L&D, I worked as an RN on a step down ICU for 2 years. I earned my nursing diploma in May of 2013 and received my nursing license in June of 2013. I am attending grad school at Excelsior College with the intention to graduate in June of 2017 with my MSN.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I will be wrapping up my first year as a Labor & Delivery nurse this May (2016). Currently, my plan is to graduate with my MSN with a specialization in Nursing Education in the summer of 2017, and continue working at the bedside in L&D. I absolutely LOVE this specialty unit. Because I have such a passion for this department, it is the area I want to teach some day. After gaining a handful more years of useful experience in L&D, I hope to begin teaching what I love to nursing students as a clinical professor.
