Ashley Schafer

My name is Ashley Schafer and I am 26 years old. I served 6 1/2 years in the U.S. Air Force as a loadmaster in C-5's. This entailed calculating the weight and balance of the aircraft, supervising the loading and unloading operations, loading and unloading passengers and monitoring passengers in flight. It was an amazing experience and I was sad when I found out it was going to end. Since getting out I have been slowly working on my degree. It's hard going to school and making enough to survive but it's also an experience. I am really passionate about helping people and love learning about the human body. This is how I came to the decision of majoring in Sports Medicine.
