About
My name is Ashley Selzer, and I am a freshman currently attending the University of Southern Mississippi studying Communications and Journalism. I hail from Slidell, Louisiana, where I attended Northshore High School from 2011 to 2015. There, I was a member of the Thespian Society Troupe #7333, Mixed and Women's Choir, Beta Club, Key Club, and Silverbelles dance team. Post-graduation, I was able to continue to pursue some of my interests. At the university, I am a member of the Honors College, the Wesley Foundation, the Eta Zeta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, and the Southern Misses dance team. I was also a part of the recent USM School of Music production of "West Side Story." I enjoy being involved on campus and hope to continue being an active part of the Southern Miss community. I am passionate about leading a happy and healthy life and always encourage others to do so.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Eventually, after receiving my undergraduate degree, I plan to attend graduate school. I would love to attend Princeton University to continue to pursue a career in Public Relations or in Journalism.
- Outside the classroom
I am an extroverted person, and I enjoy performing for others. I enjoy dancing, singing, and acting. In my spare time, I enjoy writing and cooking. I recently started a vlog on YouTube, and I have enjoyed the creative process of making videos that capture my freshman experience accurately. I am currently employed as a Zumba instructor on my campus, and I have been taking Zumba classes since I was fourteen.
