Asia Potts

Hi, my name is Asia Potts, I attend Tennessee State University and I am currently studying pre-nursing. I am a rising sophomore from Memphis, Tennessee and I plan on becoming an Obstetrics Nurse Practitioner in the future. I am currently taking up an internship with AmeriCorps this summer (2023) and plan to continue working to maintain an internship every summer until college graduation (2026). I also stay after hours at my intern location to participate with children and other camp staff to enjoy the experience. I have previous work experience at a local business in Memphis, and I worked as a team member for over 2 years before leaving for college. I worked with many kids and families serving treats and have a great work ethic. I am inspired by those families, my mom, and my bosses to continue working and inspire myself to do great. I have already accomplished an internship and an induction into a honors society.
