About
My name is Aslynn Dunn, and I'm a 19-year-old college student working hard to pursue a career in nursing. I currently work two jobs to support myself through school, while also staying committed to giving back to my community. I've completed hundreds of volunteer hours-and counting-through a wide range of experiences including childcare, elderly care, feeding the less fortunate, and helping out on a farm. Nursing has always been close to my heart because l've always wanted to help people. In a world that can sometimes feel full of hate, I want to be a source of kindness and healing. My goal is to make a meaningful, lasting difference in the lives of others through compassion, care, and service.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am currently attending NCTC working towards my associates degree, and completing the prerequisites for nursing school. Once this is completed I plan to attended the BSN program at MSU and become a registered nurse.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, and thrifting. I like spending time with my family, and I have weekly "dates" with my Nana, that I always look forward to. I also value time spent with my friends and boyfriend, when I can.
These things help me keep a good balance between work, school, and life.
