About

Atlanta Duncan is a UW Bothell graduate student in the Creative Writing & Poetics MFA program. They are a Graduate Assistant with the UWB Labor Colloquium. They were born in Providence, Rhode Island and grew up by the ocean. An interdisciplinary artist, writer, and half of the experimental punk band Johnny Ointment, they live on the Olympic Peninsula where they grow medicinal herbs as Avant Gardenz. Their work explores death, desire, folklore and the occult through a queer feminist lense.
