I am a non-traditional student who is in the process of accomplishing academic and career goals. I have worked full time since high school, and gained a great deal of self-confidence through achievements in the work place. I believe life's experiences have opened my eyes to a world of abundance and opportunity. I am so proud to be a student at the University of North Texas; where I'm able to work toward achieving academic success!

- Career goal
I am passionate about civil service and plan on pursing a career in mental health counseling. My primary area of focus is adolescent development. Currently, I am in my second year of co-facilitating a young girl's therapeutic group.
