About
Hi I’m Ava Trettel! I live in a small town about 50 minutes from Pittsburgh, Pa. I am one of 5 kids but the oldest child of my mom and dad then the second oldest with my step-mom and dad. I am the first to go to college and I am studying to be a nurse. I go to Westmoreland County Community College in Youngwood, Pa. Once I graduate with my associates degree in science of nursing I want to jump straight into working all while going back to school online to get my bachelor’s degree in science of nursing. My end goal is becoming a nurse practitioner but in the meantime I would love to travel! I push forward with biggest supporters ,my grandparents, they have always pushed me to go after what I want!

Right after college I will go straight to work and be a travel nurse while going back to school to be a nurse practitioner.
- Graduate school interests
I was never one to be interested in school but when I started college it completely changed. From my first class I was interested in psychology, the study of the mind and behaviors. It caught my eye quickly and I would read articles about it outside of class. In the future I would love to have a minor is psychology.
- Outside the classroom
I have several hobbies, painting/drawing, being with friends, music and my job. Being in school makes it hard to do things but I try to make time for all. I work full time, sounds boring but they are really my second family and support me through anything! I’ve always drew and painted because of my mom being a painter and I still try to as much as possible.
