As I consider the rapidly evolving field of neuropsychology and the exciting advancements in understanding cognition and neurodegenerative diseases, I am equally aware that therapeutic psychology - my chosen path - relies on a different kind of knowledge. It’s not just about the science but about emotional quotient - the ability to observe, listen, and connect with people on a human level. Scientific breakthroughs may tell us how the brain works, but the heart of therapy lies in being able to sit with someone in their vulnerability, offering support and understanding in a way that only human empathy can provide.
I am passionate about pursuing psychology, with a focus on psychotherapy, because I believe in the power of human connection as a path to healing.- Graduate school interests
