Goals and interests

Career goal

After graduating in May of 2016, I will be looking for employment in the city of Pittsburgh. While working as an RN, I will take online courses through my current school to finish my Bachelor's Degree. Fortunately, I will only have to take part-time classes on account of completing many of my general education credits while working towards my Associate's Degree. My preference would be to work in an ICU so that I can continue my education in Anesthesia and ultimately become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. However, if a promising job was available, I would consider accepting the position and later transferring to an ICU.

Graduate school interests

After receiving my BSN and working the required time in an ICU, I would like to continue my education and study Anesthesia at the University of Pittsburgh.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy the great outdoors. Whether it's kayaking, hiking, camping, or golfing, I find myself outside most of the time during the warmer months of the year. I'm an avid sports fan. I love the Steelers and the Pirates, and I attend games every season. During the winter I tend to read a lot more. I typically read fiction but I do read non-fiction as well. My favorite novel is "1984" by George Orwell. I also enjoy good movies which I love to watch with my beautiful wife.
