Ayush Agrawal

I am a first year undergraduate student at Georgia Tech, Atlanta, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering and looking for opportunities to build myself and define a path for my future. I am an exciting, always ready to learn kind of person. I am greatly interested in Big Data and its applications so I’ll be looking into Data Analysis and Statistics. I am currently a member of the API and Search team in Big Data Club, working on a news aggregator project called RETINA. I am very passionate about my ambitions and my life. I believe in myself. I respect my ideas as well as others' suggestions. I am a warm and friendly guy, who loves to love, lead, think, explore and create. I am an athlete and play competitive squash. I currently serve as the President of the Squash Club at Georgia Tech. Being an athlete has made me disciplined, tough, a good decision maker and a motivate leader! The famous quote by Mr. Henry Ford, "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't-you're right!", holds completely true for me. Before being elected as the Head Boy of the school, I used to be in a dilemma to whether take responsibilities. But soon, I became resolute in taking my decisions. If I saw even the slightest of a possibility, I would confidently take up the task and even complete it within the deadline as I thought that I CAN! Also, I would think I CAN NOT and turn down a task only and only if it would be unrealistic, else I would always think I CAN. And yes, I was right, always!
