Azucena Flores

Hello! My name is Azucena Flores and I am a 16-year-old high school student. I go to a small high school called Abbott Lawrence Academy (ALA) in Lawrence, MA, and I will be graduating in the year 2026.

I've volunteered to be the school photographer since I have such a high passion for Photography. The high passion I have for Photography was very visible to everyone. I would not sit down at an event in fear that I would miss a good shot ; and also solely because I was enjoying shooting. It was so noticeable that I won the Citizenship award at my school Sophomore year for being extremely involved with the community. I also have a lot of small hobbies apart from photographer that include, sports, arts, crafts, etc.

I am both an Honor Roll student and a High Honor Roll student. I took 2 AP classes last year, sophomore year, along with the rest of my classes being Advanced Honors and my GPA was a total of 3.69. This upcoming year, Junior Year, I will be taking 3 more AP classes and attending Early College at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass.

If you haven't figured it out by now, I am a really big nerd. I'm an even bigger nerd when it comes to math which is something that I want to stick with 'till the day I die. I'm hoping and working really hard to get into the field I want to get into, which is business. Specifically, Real Estate. I've always wanted to be a Real Estate Agent since I was a kid and because of this I've always kept my grades really really high.

Since I've kept my grades really high starting from elementary school, I've been able to get invited into all these amazing programs such as National Junior Honor Society (NJHS), National Scholars of High School Scholars (NSHSS), and even National Honor Society (NHS). I couldn't mean it more when I say, I'm really grateful for all of the amazing opportunities I've had throughout my years.
