Benjamin Smalls

Hi! My name is Benjamin Smalls. I am currently in my Junior year at Morgan State University with a focus in Business Management. Based not only on my account, but others who have helped me in the past, I am an individual who is extremely passionate about life. Anything and everything I put my mind to will get 150% of my effort and dedication. I am not a workaholic but I do try to let my ambition speak for the integrity of my character. Although I am only 22, I have been active in the work force since I was 15. My first summer in high school consisted of long days with a schedule that easily resembled that of an adult with a career. In the morning I went to summer school, immediately after I went to work, then I had football practice. EVERYDAY. this was my life for 3 straight months. Although I didnt realize it at the time, that is what molded my ambition for the future. I have kept that work ethic and high motored ambition through the years and have reaped the benefits because of it. I have had a total of 5 jobs (each with atleast a year of experience) since that summer. My best years in the workforce were at Best Buy. In the first 3 months of my career, I broke sales records and received numerous awards. To put that into perspective, there are employees who have been there for over 20 years that havent. Even though I took a semester off from college in 2012, Best Buy helped me build my resume and gain neccessary business experience. Now I have the advantage of compiling a resume before I obtain my Bachelors Degree. So that when I graduate, I will surely be primed for my first career.
