Blake A Lyon

My name is Blake Lyon and I am a junior at the University of Alabama at Birmingham majoring in Biomedical Sciences. I also work part-time as a Medical Scribe for St. Vincent's hospitals where I follow Emergency Medicine physicians around in the Emergency Room and chart everything each patient says including history, symptoms, and their physical examinations provided by the physician. I also input radiology and lab findings into the patients' charts along with any procedures performed by the physician. I am a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at UAB which focuses its philanthropy on St. Jude's Cancer Research. I am a very quick learner and can pick up skills quite easily. Determination is my strongest attribute as I work very hard to accomplish my goals. My plan is to be accepted into medical school and to become a Medical Doctor in an undecided field.
