About
I am an enthusiastic environmental scientist with an unwavering commitment to the fields of environmental remediation and restoration. My journey commenced during my undergraduate studies when I became captivated by the immense potential of harnessing nature's intricate mechanisms - microbes, to facilitate environmental healing and soil fertility improvement.
Currently pursuing a master's degree in Environmental Science and Sustainability at Loyola University Chicago, my research delves into cutting-edge applications of biochar, a substance that plays a pivotal role in mitigating heavy metal pollution within urban wetlands and waterways. My work encompasses advanced concepts such as phytoremediation and North American invasive species management, driving sustainable solutions to contemporary environmental challenges.
Beyond academia, I proudly assume the role of an environmental custodian, dedicated to meticulously restoring degraded ecosystems. My vision extends to crafting a sustainable legacy for future generations, underpinned by terms such as ecosystem services, habitat restoration, and biogeochemical cycling. Together with a global community of dedicated individuals, I am resolutely committed to the stewardship of our planet, working collaboratively to ensure a more sustainable and prosperous future.
