About

In my freshman year I was number one in my class out of 430 students. I took honors classes throughout high school and maintained at least a 4.0 throughout my high school experience. By Junior year I was part of the International Baccalaureate Program, and I excelled in the program. During my Senior year my health turned for the worse as I was diagnosed with Vasal-Vagal Syncope, which meant that I was not getting enough blood flow to my brain and I was more prone to faint. Even with my health in this fashion I was determined to graduate with flying colors and I did graduate with honors, meaning I still remained at the top 10% of my class.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path is to become a family psychologist, so that I can help families reach a stronger bond. I find that a stronger family generally means children will have a brighter future, because they have someone that is willing to support them to achieve their dream job. I intend to help families get to a point of supporting and encouraging each other, so that not only will the kids have a brighter future, but the parents will also feel supported enough to accomplish anything.

Outside the classroom

Writing in Journals - Always trying to write down advice and getting all my frustrations out to problem solve
Calligraphy- I have been fascinated with cursive and so I learned calligraphy to keep this style of writing alive
Drawing- Helps me to learn patience and understand difficult information
Singing- It is a hobby that relaxes me and something I'm continually improving on.
Studying the Bible- It does not sound like a hobby, but ever since I was a child I was intrigued by the words, the places, and the history found in the Bible.
