About

I am currently a Criminology student at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. I am studying to become either a FBI agent or work for Child Services. Since I was young, I have always wanted to give back to the community and help the world become a better and safer place to live in. In high school, I worked very hard to become leaders in the organizations I was apart of. I was captain of my high school's dance team for both my junior and senior years. This position helped me realize that I can help the community in ways no one had ever thought of before. My senior year my coach and I put together a "Pink Out" football game. For this game we taught children from the community a dance to perform during halftime. The money we raised during this fundraiser was given to local moms who had been suffering from Breast Cancer. In high school I was also President of a marketing club called DECA. Throughout my four years of being an active member of DECA I fundraised for numerous causes, such as; The American Cancer Society, The Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Susan G. Komen. I have always loved and enjoyed to give back to the community! My first semester in college I was a student at East Carolina University. During this semester I became a sister of Delta Zeta. Though I was only apart of their chapter for a semester, I gave back to the community is multiple ways. First, we held our annual Spaghetti Dinner for the speech and hearing impaired. To make this dinner successful, I volunteered seven hours out of my day to help set up, run, and clean up everything for the dinner. I also brought toys to the local boys and girls club for them to enjoy for the holiday season. I always want to help and give back to the community in the best way I can.

Outside the classroom

I have always loved to dance. I started dancing when I was just two years old and did not stop until I was eighteen. I hope one day I can bring together my love of helping other and my love for dance.
