About
I am from Asheville, North Carolina nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I have live in Southern California, Kentucky Germany and currently reside in Colorado with an unparallelled view of Pikes Peak. I have held many positions in my life to include my service in the U.S. Army. My most rewarding title I hole is Dad to my three sons as well as husband to my wife of almost 17 years. I am a communication major as I feel that communication is the key element in human interactions. The ability to effectively communicate can resolve many if not all conflicts before they escalate to a point of no return. Beyond my collegiate and military pursuits my plans are to teach English, Own and operate a coffee house and become a realtor/ property owner.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
One of my many goals in life is to be an educator as well as Public Speaking. I am very passionate about social relations in America but would also like to broaden my understanding in global issues as well. With that I would like to be able to be a catalyst for negative images of the diverse races in our local community we call the United States.
- Graduate school interests
I plan to continue my education at UCCS as long as my current employer affords me to stay in Colorado Springs. I am A reservist in the U.S. Army with plans to attain a full time position or transition back into the Regular Army in order to retire with at least 20 years of service
- Outside the classroom
My favorite pass times would include grilling, reading, raising my three sons with my wife and riding my motorcycle.
