Cassidee L. Powell

I am thrilled to be apart of the Honors Society. There are definitely plenty of opportunities to take advantage of.

In high school, I was apart of National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society. Furthermore, I was captain of the Franklin Regional Marching Band’s silks and won a chorus scholarship my senior year.

Additionally, in the fall of 2015, I made the President's List and was rewarded with the Delmont Rotary scholarship for my academic achievement. During that time, I was also inducted into Alpha Sigma Pi, better known as the National Society of Leadership and Success. Last but not least, I joined Phi Theta Kappa, another Honor Society.

Similarly, I view joining HonorSociety.org as another chance to gain leadership traits, accomplish goals, and be overall successful.

I’m currently a sophomore at Westmoreland County Community College, specifically at the Bushy Run Campus. Since it’s so close to home, I commute to school and live at home with my parents and brother. It’s nice staying local because I’m able to work and spend time with my family, friends, and pets. In my free time, I enjoy singing, playing guitar, crafting, and staying in shape. I plan on transferring from WCCC after two years and majoring in Interior Design. In the future I want to be an interior designer, real estate agent, and performer.
