About

Hello,

I am an advanced standing student in the Master of Social Work Program and University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I received my Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2018 from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. After graduation I began my social worker career as a CPS Ongoing social worker working with children and families longer term with the primary goal of reunification of children with her parents as well as assessing children for their ongoing safety. I recently began a new position as a CCS service facilitator, providing mental health case management for children and adolescents. I have a great passion for providing mental health/addiction services and this passion has encouraged me to go back to school to obtain my master's degree in social work with longer term goals of becoming a mental health/substance abuse therapist. I do intend to work my way up to a licensed clinical social worker after graduation.
