Volunteering

  • I started volunteering in the community at a very early age and continue to participate in community service now. I believe volunteering initiates social change and creates a positive outlet for meaningful adjustment in one’s community. iCLOG is my platform which stands for Inspiring change in the lives of my community. Over the past several years, I have completed enough hours to be awarded the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Presidential Service Awards. As nice as the certificates I have signed by the President of the United States is, it is more rewarding knowing all the people I have helped along the way. I have raised money for Children’s Miracle Network, the Ronald McDonald House, and my favorite, creating and organizing a Christmas Party for the children in the Kennedy Home. This past Christmas I helped organize and collect gifts for the local school systems secret Santa project. I hope to be an inspiration for all other kids to volunteer and get involved in the community.
